## Overview of the Legal and Policy Reform Division
The Legal and Policy Reform Division operates at the core of institutional advocacy, managing everything from program planning and budgeting to implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and comprehensive reporting. Guided by a victim-centered approach, the division fulfills critical core responsibilities, including:
* Substantive Legislative Review: Analyzing existing laws, bills, and regional regulations to ensure the total eradication of violence against women and the advancement of gender equality.
* Constitutional Harmonization: Conducting formal and material judicial reviews of regional and national regulations to align them with constitutional standards and international human rights frameworks.
* International Human Rights Integration: Examining global legal instruments, United Nations special rapporteur reports, and international agreements to strengthen domestic policy development.
* Constructive Policy Dialogue: Engaging key decision-makers across legislative, executive, and judicial branches to champion robust legal frameworks protecting women's rights.
* Strategic Coalition Building: Securing high-level policy support to seamlessly integrate Komnas Perempuan’s recommendations into national and regional legislative agendas.
## 1. National Policy Analysis and Advocacy Assistant Coordinator

Role Summary
This position centers on spearheading policy research, legislative evaluation, strategic recommendations, and high-level national advocacy concerning laws and regulations across Indonesia.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Division Coordinator in researching, analyzing, and evaluating national-level regulations and formulating strategic recommendations.
* Drive national lobbying efforts and women's human rights advocacy initiatives.
* Develop comprehensive work plans and annual budgets for division programs.
* Draft terms of reference (ToR), budget proposals, and detailed activity reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
* Map key stakeholders critical to national-level advocacy and lobbying campaigns.
* Maintain cross-divisional communication regarding program planning, execution, and financial reporting.
* Liaise professionally with legislative, executive, and judicial partners, civil society organizations, and the broader public.

Candidate Qualifications
* Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1), preferably in Law or Social Sciences.
* At least 4 years of relevant professional experience.
* Proven expertise in conducting quantitative and qualitative policy analysis, particularly regarding national human rights issues.

Role Summary
This role focuses on grassroots and regional policy development, evaluating local statutory regulations, and driving localized advocacy campaigns to protect women's rights across diverse Indonesian regions.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Division Coordinator in analyzing regional regulations, local policies, and sub-national legal frameworks.
* Execute regional lobbying strategies and grassroots human rights advocacy programs.
* Design operational work plans and financial budgets for division activities.
* Prepare project terms of reference, funding requests, and financial accountability reports.
* Map regional stakeholders and foster localized partnerships.
* Compile detailed discussion notes and meeting minutes.
* Coordinate internally across divisions to streamline project execution and reporting.

We are currently accepting applications for 3 dedicated interns to provide vital programmatic and operational support for the upcoming launch celebrating 20 Years of the Elimination of Domestic Violence Law (UU PKdRT).
