## Job Vacancy: Health & Safety Officer (Permanent Employee / PKWTT)
PT JIEP is actively seeking a qualified, driven, and detail-oriented candidate to join the team as a Health & Safety Officer under a permanent employment scheme (Perjanjian Kerja Waktu Tidak Tertentu).
Core Responsibilities
As a Health & Safety Officer, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our workforce, assets, and operational environments. Your primary duties will encompass:
* Program Execution & Compliance: Implement and document all Occupational Health and Safety (HSE) programs, activities, and initiatives in strict alignment with corporate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), governance standards, and applicable regulations.
* Risk Management & Inspection: Conduct thorough hazard identifications, risk potential analyses, operational monitoring, and safety inspections to prevent workplace accidents, occupational illnesses, fires, explosions, and other adverse incidents.
* Incident Response & Mitigation: Execute rapid emergency responses and corrective actions when accidents, occupational illnesses, or safety breaches occur, followed by comprehensive post-incident reporting and follow-up measures.
* Performance Evaluation: Measure and evaluate HSE performance metrics against targets, formulate actionable recommendations, and draft strategic action plans to continually elevate the company’s health and safety standards.
* Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate and consolidate safety protocols with both internal and external stakeholders, oversee mandatory equipment testing (such as K3, fire extinguishers, generators, and lightning rods), and generate compliance reports.
* Education & Monitoring: Drive educational campaigns and socialization efforts regarding safety standards, monitoring their implementation across businesses within the industrial estate.
* Quality & SLA Alignment: Ensure that department objectives consistently meet established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Integrated Management System requirements, including quality targets, anti-bribery measures, and K3 protocols.
* Continuous Improvement: Formulate and propose innovative evaluations to leadership designed to foster continuous improvement in HSE operations.
## Candidate Requirements
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following educational and professional criteria:
* Educational Background: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety (K3) or Public Health.
* Professional Experience: At least 2 (two) years of proven working experience in the HSE sector.
* Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
* Teamwork & Independence: Capable of thriving both as a collaborative team player and as an independent contributor.
* Work Ethic: Highly proactive, possessing strong initiative, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to deliver exceptional results under tight deadlines.
## Essential Technical Competencies
Candidates must possess a specialized skill set to handle the technical demands of the role effectively:
Certifications: Must hold a valid General Occupational Safety and Health Expert (Ahli K3 Umum*) certification issued by the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia.
* HSE Management Expertise: Deep proficiency in Health Safety Environment Management, covering HSE Risk Assessment, HSE Risk Controlling, Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, HSE Inspections, and comprehensive HSE reporting.
* Design Skills: Familiarity with graphic design and editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw, and/or Canva is considered a distinct advantage.
* Language Proficiency: Fluent in English with a minimum TOEFL score of 400.
