## Role Overview: Mechanical Commissioning Engineer
The Mechanical Commissioning Engineer serves as a vital link in the project’s lifecycle, ensuring that all power plant systems are integrated, tested, and fully operational according to international standards. You will oversee the transition from construction to plant commissioning, ensuring reliability and safety across all mechanical assets.
Key Responsibilities
* System Testing and Analysis: Execute rigorous performance testing, including motor solo runs, fan and pump testing, and comprehensive load testing.
* Troubleshooting and Optimization: Investigate and resolve complex mechanical issues involving pumps, fans, valves, and auxiliary power plant equipment.
* Project Oversight: Monitor site activities, conduct detailed field surveys, and compile technical reports to document progress and identify potential operational bottlenecks.
* Commissioning Coordination: Lead, manage, and coordinate the commissioning phases for all assigned power plant systems to ensure seamless handover.
* Precision Tool Utilization: Operate sophisticated diagnostic tools, including vibration meters, temperature guns, and standardized mechanical test equipment to maintain optimal equipment health.
## Qualifications and Requirements
To succeed in this role, applicants must demonstrate a solid technical foundation and a proven track record in the power sector. We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
1. Educational Background: A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
2. Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience within the Power Plant, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), or heavy construction industries.
Note: Prior experience working within a Korean corporate environment is considered a significant advantage.*
3. Communication Skills: Professional-level proficiency in English, encompassing both verbal communication and technical writing.
4. Technical Proficiency: Advanced competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and proficiency in CAD software and other industry-standard mechanical drawing tools.
5. Work Location and Terms: Candidates must be willing to be stationed at the Suralaya Site Office (Cilegon, Banten) on a non-rotational schedule. This position is offered on a contract employment basis.
