The Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas serves as the cornerstone of Indonesia’s strategic development, tasked with orchestrating national planning to support the President’s vision for the nation. As a pivotal government entity, Bappenas ensures that development initiatives are systematic, sustainable, and impactful. Currently, the Directorate of Tourism, Creative Economy, and Digital Economy is expanding its team to bolster the implementation of the Sustainable and Quality Tourism Development Program (SQTDP), a high-priority initiative executed in partnership with the World Bank.
## Overview of the Role
The Directorate is seeking two highly motivated individuals to join as contract-based personnel (non-ASN). This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to national-level policy development while working closely with international development experts.
* Position: Secretariat and Substantive Support Staff

* Employment Status: Contract-based (Non-ASN)
* Contract Duration: 10 (ten) months
## Key Qualifications and Requirements
To ensure the successful execution of SQTDP goals, candidates must demonstrate strong academic backgrounds and technical proficiency. We welcome both experienced professionals and fresh graduates who meet the following criteria:
* Educational Background: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Urban and Regional Planning or Economics.
* Academic Achievement: A minimum GPA of 3.00.
* Language Proficiency: Strong command of English, supported by certification:
* TOEFL ITP: Minimum 500
* TOEFL iBT: Minimum 80
* TOEFL Prediction: Minimum 500
* Professional Status: Must not be a civil servant (ASN), active military (TNI), or police (Polri) personnel, and must not possess a government employee identification number (NIP).
* Proven experience in organizational leadership, academic research, project management, or professional internships.
* Prior experience working or interning at Bappenas, the World Bank, or other international development agencies.
* Specialized knowledge in tourism development, development economics, public policy, or sustainable development.
## Core Responsibilities
The selected personnel will play an integral role in facilitating the smooth operation of the SQTDP. Primary duties include:
1. Administrative and Coordination Support: Streamlining day-to-day operations and ensuring effective communication across various project stakeholders.
2. Substantive Documentation: Assisting in the compilation, analysis, and archiving of technical program materials.
3. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensuring all project documents meet strict standards to facilitate the issuance of No Objection Letters (NOL) from the World Bank.
4. Feedback Management: Assisting in tracking and implementing feedback provided by the World Bank and other relevant government or regional agencies.
5. Stakeholder Engagement: Acting as a bridge between the Directorate, the SQTDP team, and international partners.
